Hygiene wall cladding & specialist flooring for an NHS ward environment
Rickard Interiors were appointed to carry out a full wall and floor refurbishment across multiple ward areas within this NHS facility. The project required products and installation methods that met strict NHS infection-control standards, with minimal disruption to ongoing healthcare operations.
We specified and installed Altro Whiterock Satins wall cladding throughout - providing a seamless, jointless hygienic surface that requires no grouting and resists bacteria. Colour-coded panels were used across different clinical zones to support wayfinding and create a calming, professional environment for both patients and staff.
Altro Suprema safety flooring was installed throughout corridors and patient areas, providing slip resistance, comfort underfoot and compliance with NHS HTM 61 guidance. All installation work was carried out by our Altro Premier certified team to full manufacturer specification, ensuring ongoing warranty coverage.
