Catering kitchen & servery fit-out for a secondary school environment
Rickard Interiors were engaged to deliver a complete refurbishment of the catering kitchen and servery at this secondary school. The project was scheduled across school holiday periods to minimise disruption to students and staff.
Altro Wood adhesive-free safety flooring was installed throughout the servery and kitchen areas - chosen for its ease of installation, low lifecycle cost and food-safe slip resistance. The adhesive-free installation method also allows for future removal and replacement without damage to the substrate.
Suspended ceilings were installed across the servery and back-of-house zones, with cleanable tile specifications suitable for food preparation environments. The completed fit-out provides a hygienic, durable and visually appealing space that meets DfE and food safety standards.
